Christiano Ronaldo has hinted that he could leave Al Nassr just after playing on Monday in the season finale of the Saudi Pro League. This match could mark his last appearance for the Al Nassr club.

Just a few moments after the game, the superstar posted a picture of himself in his Al Nassr uniform and posted a message. The message reads: “This chapter is over. The story? Still being written. Thanks to all.”

The 40-year-old Portuguese superstar joined the Al Nassr club back in 2022 as he was coming from Manchester United. His contract with the Saudi club is coming to an end in June this year.

In the recently concluded Saudi Pro League season, he was the top scorer with 25 goals. However, Al Nassr could qualify for the next season’s prestigious AFC Champions League.

Ronaldo scored the 99th goal in 105 matches for Al Nassr against Al Fateh club in the league. However, his team lost the match 3-2. Now, the Portuguese striker has 937 official goals in his career and 801 of them came at the club level.

Last week, FIFA president Gianni Infantino said that Ronaldo should join a team involved in the FIFA Club World Cup. Now that Al Nassr failed to qualify, he should go for a club that has already qualified for the Club World Cup.

Infantino told the Youtuber iShowSpeed that “Ronaldo might play for one of the teams as well at the Club World Cup.”

According to him, “There are discussions with some clubs, so if any club is watching and is interested in hiring Ronaldo for the Club World Cup… who knows, who knows?”
