UFC President Dana White has declared a lifetime ban on Dillon Danis, therefore prohibiting the divisive fighter from attending any UFC event ever again. Held at Madison Square Garden on November 15, 2025, during UFC 322, the decision follows a chaotic cageside confrontation.
Just before the main card started, Danis was caught on camera getting into a physical fight with members of Islam Makhachev’s entourage, including Abubakar Nurmagomedov and Magomed Zaynukov. Security moved quickly to end the battle.

Dana White announced his judgment during a post-fight news conference, stating that Dillon Danis will never be seen again at the UFC. White also accepted personal responsibility for the event, saying he had been cautioned about Danis’s conduct and presence. He said that Danis was wandering even though seated in seats reserved for boxers, although he had a genuine ticket.
He admitted that this was a severe misjudgment. White further adds that he blames himself for it. According to White, there were other alarms; he was told that former UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal had threatened Danis. Still, White let Danis stay seated, but admitted he misjudged the danger.
Pondering over the especially unstable environment, he says that it didn’t cross his mind that, considering Makhachev’s team’s proximity, it was clear that the whole Muslim Brotherhood was there at the fight. The UFC has further decided not to press criminal charges against Danis, even though the fight was rather serious. White rejected the arrest offer by the security, saying the entire event was ‘fight business’ and admitting he could have stopped it.

Since his contentious 2018 post-fight brawl, Danis, 32, has long been linked to high-profile friction; he once trained with Conor McGregor and has a shaky relationship with Khabib Nurmagomedov’s camp. With White’s permanent ban, Dillon Danis’s route to the UFC looks surely blocked.
