The schedule for the Champions Trophy 2025 is here. The hosts Pakistan will kickstart the 2025 Champions Trophy campaign against New Zealand on February 19 in Karachi.
The ICC confirmed this on December 24 while announcing the full schedule of the event. The group stage matches of India and one semi-final have been scheduled in Dubai. The big clash of the event, the Pakistan-India match, is scheduled to be played in Dubai on February 23.
There are two groups with four teams each and the teams will play a round robin format in their group. Essentially, each team will play three matches in the group stages before advancing to the semi-final stage.
Here is how the groups are divided.
Group A – Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, New Zealand
Group B – Afghanistan, South Africa, Australia, England
Pakistan has selected three venues for the Champions Trophy 2025. All the matches in Pakistan will be played in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. Each ground has been given three matches each in the group stages, while Dubai has also been given three India games.
One semifinal will be played in Dubai, while the other will be played in Lahore.
The Final match will be held on March 9 in Lahore if India does not qualify for the final. If India does reach the final, then it will be held in Dubai.
