Lamine Yamal found the space down the right and passed the ball to Nico Willimas to slot a goal. In the 47th minute, Nico Williams scored a goal to give Spain a lead. England fell behind for the successive match.

After that, Spain was more aggressive in attacking England. A series of attacks made England vulnerable and they were unable to score as well.

England boss Gareth Southgate reacted by sending on Ollie Watkins, the hero of the last match for England. 10 minutes later, Cole Palmer joined him for an ineffective Harry Kane.

The substitution paid off immediately as Cole Palmer curled home a precise low 20-metre shot in the 73rd minute. With this, England fans rejoiced and erupted in the stadium with joy.

However, Spain did not give up and their 68th-minute substitute player Mikel Oyarzabal came to the party. He struck a nice goal with just four minutes to go.

Spain took the lead by one goal and then played for the rest of the game to keep England away from their goal post.

Ultimately, Spain was crowned champions of Euro 2024.
