The PGA Tour now has an idea what its 2027 schedule will look like, even though the 2026 schedule is still being finalized. This time, the early part of the year will feature something different.

Many websites have posted the schedule for the next year, even though the Tour has not released an official statement yet. Sports Business Journal reporter Josh Carpenter said that the players are given a memo outlining the schedule changes.

There are a few changes that you should be aware of. This time, the Tour season won’t start from the Hawaiian events. Last year, the Sentry tournament and the Sony Open started the proceedings.

Based on the announcements posted on the websites, this season will start from Jan 21 at the American Express event in La Quinta. Scottie Scheffler won that event this year.

After that tournament, an unnamed tournament will be played the following week at Torrey Pines.

Now, let’s look at how things will shape up according to the posted schedule.

– Feb. 4-7: AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am

– Feb. 11-14: WM Phoenix Open

– Feb. 18-21: Genesis Invitational

– Feb. 25-28: Cognizant Classic

– March 4-7: Cadillac Championship

– March 11-14: Players Championship

– March 18-21: Arnold Palmer Invitational

– March 25-28: Texas Children’s Houston Open

– April 1-4: Valero Texas Open

– April 8-11: Masters

– April 15-18: RBC Heritage

– April 22-25: Zurich Classic

– April 29-May 2: CJ Cup Byron Nelson

– May 6-9: Valspar Championship

– May 13-16: Truist Championship and One Flight Myrtle Beach Classic

– May 20-23: PGA Championship

Now, you might ask, what’s changing this year? Besides the Hawaiian events, here are changes made to the schedule.

This year, the Pebble Beach and WM Phoenix Open events will swap their dates. It looks like they are doing that for the Pebble Beach tournament to avoid the Super Bowl.

They also moved the Cadillac Championship from May to March. This took the date of the Arnold Palmer Invitational. They changed it because the event was clashing with a nearby F1 race.

The Arnold Palmer was moved to mid-March to compensate for the Cadillac Championship.
