Former NBA player sends strong message to Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Milwaukee Bucks have been in a lot of trouble as they are not competing for the NBA playoffs. However, this is the least of their concerns.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver is conducting an investigation into the handling of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s injury status. Many people have reacted to this news; however, Theo Pinson might be the most furious of them.

This issue between the NBA and the Bucks started when Antetokounmpo was declared out due to a bone bruise and left knee hyperextension. It was obviously best for Antetokounmpo to sit out.

However, there were trade talks during the deadline, but nothing came of it. Antetokounmpo then stated that he was healthy and did not know the reason for his sitting out. On the other hand, the Bucks released a statement saying that the player declined to suit up.

However, a former NBA player, Pinson, picked up on the news and was furious about the handling of this issue by the Bucks. Talking on a podcast, Pinson had some strong words to say about it. Have a look.

“This man summoned a whole investigation on his own organization. Has anybody ever heard of that? The team that is going to give him a statue. He told the NBA, ‘Pull up, these (redacted) cheating, they don’t want to play me.’ That’s crazy. But let’s think about this, Giannis. They gave Thanasis and Alex a deal, sit your a** down.”

Theo Pinson has played in the league for five seasons. He was able to work alongside some great teams, like the Brooklyn Nets. Pinson started his career with the Brooklyn Nets system for two years. Then, he played with the New York Knicks for a season. After that, he played with the Luka Doncic-led Dallas Mavericks for two more seasons.

Now, he shares a podcast with other former players, Raymond Felton and Charlie Villanueva. This rant of Pinson into Bucks will not be the only one. Apart from him, there are many former players and executives who are turning on Antetokounmpo or the Bucks.

So, what do you think, will they be able to get past this?
