    Eagles Soar To Victory With a Dominant Win Over Commanders

    The Eagles scored 23 points in a row in the second half before the Commanders in the Thursday Night game. After the Eagles scored, tight end Zach Ertz found the end zone with a late touchdown and scored two points against his former team. As a result, Philadelphia emerged victorious with a score of 26-18 regardless of the fact that Jake Elliott missed three kicks during the game. Fans can expect another thrilling game where they can watch the players in action as both teams are scheduled to face each other again this year on December 22. 

    The Eagles outperformed the Commanders dominantly, gathering 434 total yards as compared to 264 wards for the opposite team Washington. However, Elliott was unable to convert his own field goal attempts from 44 and 51 yards. Not only this but he also missed an extra point, all aimed wide left but he successfully kicked a 31-yarder. 

    Jalen Hurts’s 1-yard touchdown run allowed the Eagles to have an upper hand in the game at 12-10 with only 12 minutes remaining. Jayden Daniels, quarterback of Washington who is dealing with a rib injury, displayed typical rookie struggles. This led to Saquon Barkley scoring two touchdowns in the fourth quarter within a span of 20 seconds after Jayden’s interception thrown to safety Reed Blankenship

    The Commanders did have the opportunity to take a lead in the fourth quarter however after failing to gain a first down on Brian Robinsn’s second-and-1 and third-and-1 runs from the Eagles’ 25-yard line, Washington opted to miss a go-ahead goal attempt on fourth down. 

    Throughout the six-game winning streak, Eagles’ defence has permitted only six touchdowns. This game on Thursday was finished by quarterback Jayden Daniels who completed 22 of 32 passes for 191 yards with one touchdown and an interception.
