Commanders’ Jayden Daniels Becomes First QB in NFL History in Win Over Cardinals

    Washington Commanders rookie Jayden Daniels is on a roll this season. It looks like Jayden may win the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year award. Earlier this week, Commanders and Jayden Daniels pulled off 1 in 1.7 million feat during their game. 

    Jayden is fresh off from his massive performance in last Monday’s win over the Bengals and now he made history on Sunday in their game against the Cardinals. 

    On Sunday, Jayden Daniels led the Washington Commanders to a 42-12 blowout over the Arizona Cardinals. During this match, he became the first quarterback in NFL history to complete at least 85% of his throws in consecutive games. In his game against the Cardinals, he completed nearly 87% of his throws after he completed 91.3% of his throws in Cincinnati last Monday. 

    His 82.1% completion rate in his first four games is also a record in the NFL. 

    He nearly destroyed the Cardinals with his arms and legs. He completed 26 out of 30 for 233 yards including his fourth quarter touchdown pass to Terry McLaurin. 

    Before the NFL Draft 2024, Daniels told CBSSports that he aspires to become the greatest running quarterback in NFL history. Well, he has surely manifested that and worked hard towards getting that. 

    For now, he has a good start. His success in the NFL could be related to his incredible athleticism and his football IQ. 

    He is a mentally strong player who uses his physical gifts in a way that helps in perform at the highest levels 

    He has the ability to quickly read defenses and that enables him to get rid of the ball before defenses have a chance to anticipate that. 

    Washington Commanders have made a 3-1 start and Daniels has played a big role in it.
