Dana White announced the Conor McGrogor’s UFC combaback fight against Max Hollaway on his Instagram Live. He said that the Irish superstar will feature in the main event of UFC 329 during international fight week. However, the timing of the annoucement became a major talking point in the media.

White dismissed the idea of intentional timing in an interview. While speaking at Saturday’s Brand Risk 14 event at the Meta APEX, White addressed all the concerns of fans.
Brand Risk 14 event at the Meta APEX was headlined by former Heisman Trophy winner-turned-NFL draft bust Johnny Manziel. Johnny scored a knockout victory over social media personality Bob Menery in an amateur 205-pound MMA bout.
Here is what White said about the event in that interview. “Not a coincidence, I had a fucking fight here that night. Anybody who thinks that I gave a shit what was going on anywhere else is out of their fucking minds.”
He went on to add that the timing of the announcement had nothing to do with it. The deal was finalized and that is why it was announced. He said, “We announced it as soon as we got it done, and we were in the middle of our event. I don’t give a fuck what those guys are doing. Are you kidding me?”
