It is revealed that the quarterback from the 49ers, Brock Purdy, has signed a five-year extension. The contract extension is worth $265 million, and it includes a $181 million guarantee. He will receive $165 million in the first three years, and $100 million is guaranteed at signing.
According to the new contract extension, Purdy will receive $53 million a year on the deal. His annual average is tied in the seventh rank after some of the top players in the league.

Purdy was picked in the 2022 NFL draft by the San Francisco 49ers. He had to perform at every level in his rookie season to get named the team’s full-time starter in 2023.
The new contract is a massive raise for Brock as he earned $2.6 million total over his first three NFL seasons. Now, his annual contract is worth $53 million. It means he will get paid more per week with this new deal than he did over the first three years of his career.
The discussions have been going on since Purdy reported for the start of the offseason program in April. Finally, the deal came together on Friday. This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone, as the 49ers believe Purdy to have good seasons with the team.
