Sri Lanka will host Bangladesh for a bilateral series in the months of June and July 2025. The series will feature two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is.

The multiformat series will start from June 17 and end on July 16. First, they will play two matches and then three ODIs. After that, they will play three T20Is.

The first Test is scheduled to be played in Galle from June 17, 2025. The second Test will be played in Colombo at the Sinhalese Sports Club from June 25. Sri Lanka has never lost a Test series to Bangladesh in their history. So, it will be interesting to see how the events in Sri Lanka unfold. Besides, Bangladesh is coming on the back of a tied Test series against Zimbabwe in April (1-1).

After the Test series is over, the focus will shift to the ODIs. They are scheduled as day-night fixtures. The first two games will be played at the R Premadasa Stadium, while the third ODI will be played in Pallekele. The teams will play their first T20I match there and move on to Dambulla and Colombo for the second and third T20Is, respectively.
