Vikings Jordan Addison Arrested for Allegedly Driving Under Influence in Los Angeles

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison got arrested on Friday for DUI. The authorities suspected that he was driving under influence and they arrested him. 

He was caught on the California highway near Los Angeles International Airport. 

According to the police report, the Los Angeles Communications Center notified the California Highway Patrol of a vehicle blocking a lane of traffic on the freeway. Officers approached the White Rolls Royce with the driver asleep behind the wheel. A spokesperson for California Highway Patrol also confirmed that the driver was asleep when officers arrived. 

According to the report, the officers followed the DUI investigation and then arrested Jordan Addison at approximately 11:36 pm. Later he was released at 1:36 am on Saturday. 

Vikings also issued a statement on the matter. “We are aware of Jordan Addison’s arrest this past Friday and are currently gathering more information regarding the incident.”

He has a history of rash driving and more. One time, he was put behind bars for speeding on a freeway in Minnesota. He was driving 140 miles per hour in a 55-mph zone. According to that report, he was driving at such a speed due to an emergency regarding his dog. For that, he was not arrested. However, later he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor speeding charge and paid the fine. 

The 22-year-old was the first-round pick for USC last year. He was mighty impressive in his rookie season where he registered 70 receptions for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns in his rookie session.
