Due to his consistency and hunger for runs, he is considered the greatest of all time in the IPL. He averages 38.66 in IPL and has a strike rate of 131.97. He has hit 705 fours and 272 sixes in IPL. Virat has also scored the most runs in IPL history in one season. 

2. Shikhar Dhawan – 6769 Runs in 222 Matches

The second on this list is Shikhar Dhawan, the left-hander opening batsman from India. Sikhar has a different swag about him when he comes to bat. Sikhar has completed 6769 runs in 222 matches with an average of 35.25 and a strike rate of 127.14.

3. Rohit Sharma – 6628 Runs in 257 Matches

7. AB de Villiers – 5162 Runs in 184 Matches

8. Chris Gayle – 4965 Runs in 142 Matches
